Dr Monalisa Sahu is an extremely competent paediatrician & neonatologist. She has completed her MBBS from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal and has pursued her MD in the field of paediatrics from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. She also has gained expertise in neonatology from Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. She has over 8 years of experience in the NICU itself.

She has specialized in Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). She has also aced the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). She has skilled herself in the Neonatal Emergency Simulation Training Course.

Apart from all these, she has made herself proficient in the field of rational drug therapy in Children, common paediatric surgical problems, basic paediatric intensive care, basic mechanical ventilation, and maternal and child nutrition. She is well-informed about all the advances in neonatology that are occurring.

Aside from having all these skills and years of experience, she has done her research on metabolic abnormalities in Paediatric intensive care patients and their correlation with Clinical Outcomes. She has also studied etiology, onset and clinical manifestation of neonatal seizures.
